A hat tip to you for embracing the light leaks!
© noranoodles:
I just got my film back from Montauk and I am excited to say that there are many exposures I am very happy with. But this is a perfect example of why I love film and still indulge in shooting it sometimes. Pure accident with a multiple exposure and light leak. But I love it.

The year was 1981, and Pentax had just manufactured their 10 millionth SLR.
To celebrate, they made 300 18 carat gold plated and brown leather Pentax LX that came with a matching gold and leather f/1.2 50mm lens.
(It even came with white silk gloves for when you wanted to hold it!)

Francesca Woodman: Retrospective
Guggenheim Museum, 1071 5th Ave., NYC (at 89th St)
When Francesca Woodman leapt to her death at the age of 22, she had only been a photographer for five years. Yet critics praised her blend of “mythology, literature, painting and photography” and marveled that she “had the rarest link with her medium.” On Thursday, Francesca Woodman’s retrospective will open at the Guggenheim, featuring 120 photographs and six newly discovered short films. - Gothamist -

Wouter van Buuren shoots from cranes and rooftops to make these amazing panoramic globes. They’re like tiny planets x10000.

Mark Latia’s snake portraits remind us of Guido Mocafico’s Serpens series, and that snakes are nice to look at.
